Since 2014, Agnes Schneidewind & Mieke Weckesser work together under the name Aliens Connected. Through collective writing, drawing & storytelling, they deal with topics such as translation, otherness and miscommunication. Since 2015 their co-working resulted in a collection of blurbs
Through this house
Three am. Two aliens decide to watch a movie together. A tea, some wine, and while the water is boiling: one alien gets up and leaves.
Bourgeois storm
German soap opera: the landlady invites two aliens for breakfast. a storm in the form of three men enters, one joking, one on the phone, one silent. a toasted bread with bacon – later, an alien is all alone.
Aliens Connected
Three performers meet in an apartment at the top floor. They look at the window on the other side of the street. After one week: they don’t meet again.

The living room is the most exposed room of our domicile.
Plus two
A board game performed by two cleaning lady’s, a landlord and a child. The game is played three times in silence while a drama unfolds.
Personal grooming
Mirrors work best with a surface of a very high degree of flatness and are most commonly used for personal grooming. (Personal grooming is the art of cleaning and maintaining parts of the body, a form of hygiene.)

A scream exits on the left, makes a circle, returns from the right, and adds drama to casual gestures.
Stretching time
Caressing the plants, the wind, his leaves and two other graves
Together
Common eating: rice with soup and moonbeans. Someone gets angry and sings in the toilet for ten minutes.
Left
Behind the house: a cat attacks another cat. Both scream. Later: the cat starts to moo.
Commoning two
Two performers talk about the memory. Someone dancing silently with paper attacks them with a stick. Lucky to still be alive, everybody leaves into different directions.
Black
Pest attacks are much more common outdoors in the garden, but even the most seasoned house plant owner will eventually fall victim to an attack indoors. The trick is to be observant of your plant and then when problems arise act decisively. If you follow this rule your plants have a much better chance of making it out the battlefield with minimal or no lasting damage.
It falls from my mouth to be caught by my ear
Seven shy performers enter a larger space and sit around a table placed in the middle of the room. Silence. One falls down from the chair.
On reasonable altitude
Baskets full of fire wood are being transported through a hole in the floor. The pulley which is used for the action is shaky. Some pieces of wood fly around the crispy blue sky while other pieces of wood fall down, scattered but very much alive.
